Rubberduck Media Lab, which powered the 2006 Turin Winter Olympics mobile TV broadcasts for Norway, has some figures from it: about 30,000 viewers (30% of all 3G users in Norway) engaged in 250,000 Olympic-related mobile TV sessions, accessing over one million minutes of viewing across the two weeks of competition. At one point more than a 1,000 viewers accessed the service at the same time. Rubberduck was the to mobile streaming provider and worked with The Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation, NRK, and Telenor.
