VoiceSignal has introduced VoiceMode 2.0, a new application that makes it easy to input text by simply using ones voice instead of the keypad.
With the new application, speech is used to make a mobile phone easier to use and is available for download onto mobile phones through theNokia Software Market.
Tom Ojala, COO, Symmetria Software, an operator for Nokia Software Market commented in a statement, "We are excited about having VoiceSignal join the Nokia Software Market, and we believe the VoiceMode product proposes a very strong consumer value proposition and strengthens the product portfolio of our channel."
When users speak into the phone, messages are converted from speech to text-- making it possible for long time users and those just starting out with text messaging to easily utilize the communications.
The solution also offers the ability to add words to the dictionary for more personalized use and can utilize text inputs for SMS, MMS, email, notes, calendar and office documents.
Priced at 19.99 euros, VoiceMode 2.0 will initially be available for download onto selected Nokia devices and with UK English as the first language; the application is available for a special introductory price of 9.95 euros and can be download onto mobile phones through the Nokia Software Market site (http://www.softwaremarket.nokia.com).
