Sennari, the world leader in CRM-based applications for mobile phones, has been named as a finalist in the Best Games Service Provider category of the ME Awards hosted by Mobile Entertainment Magazine.
The inaugural ME Awards are recognizing companies that are involved with the creation and delivery of entertainment content, including handset companies, mobile marketing services, on-devise portal provides and more.
Sennari is one of the finalists that was selected out of hundreds of nominees and is joined by other innovators in the mobile industry, including Motorola, ipsh!, Digital Chocolate, Electronic Arts, Alcatel, MTV and Sony BMG.
Sennari was selected because of its well-known PrizePlay mobile game service, which was launched in late 2005. PrizePlay is a suite of mobile games that offers the ability to win prizes in every game played with real time prize redemption right from the phone. All PrizePlay games (Monopoly, Snakes and Ladders, Mahjong, Goldenballs/Pachinko, Poker, Battleships and Star Trek) also include other cool features, such as pay-per-play using game tokens and a shared wallet across all games to access tokens and prize points.
?As a young company that strives to deliver the most innovative mobile gaming services, we are pleased and honored to be recognized as a ME Award finalist,? said Bill Barhydt, CEO of Sennari. ?The award is a testament to the current success of our fun and compelling PrizePlay game service. We look forward to offering even more original products in the future.?
Sennari and the other finalists will be assessed by a panel of 300 judges from across the industry. The winners will be announced at the awards ceremony at the Kensington Garden Hotel, London, on September 19, 2006.
