Reuters Launches Ad-Supported Mobile Video News Service

Following the launch of its mobile portal earlier this year, Reuters is launching an ad-supported mobile video news service. The service is available through the Reuters mobile site and it contains breaking news and business video segments optimized for some smart phones such as the Nokia E62, Palm 700w, and Blackberry Pearl.

Anyway, Stephen Smyth, GM of Reuters Media, said that the company will begin selling pre-roll advertising on its mobile video early in 2007.
