Ojom is a mobile games developer and publisher that is releasing a new mobile games based on movies, with the launch of a new title called Desperado: Duel of Vengeance.
The move of the game: Desperado transports the player into a lawless Mexican town ruled by a band of ruthless bandits. The premise of the game is quite simple: the gamer impersonates the maverick gunslinger El Mariachi, whose job is to find the bandit leader - a nasty piece of work by the name of 'Bucho' - while scoring points along the way by fighting bandits.
"Desperado uses the film as the inspiration for an explosive, action-packed game that will have you on the edge of your seat," said Betram Pecher, Manager Sales & Operations at Ojom. "The game's appeal lies in the fact that the formula is very simple it's a classic arcade style shoot 'em up, but the hero is able to perform some acrobatic fighting moves to stop his enemies in their tracks."
Desparado: Dual of Vengeance has been released on major mobile carriers in a range of European languages and is compatible with all main Java-enabled handsets. Other titles recently launched by Ojom (also based on classic movies) include the mobile version of the horror movie 'Land of the Dead' and 'The Birds', based on Hitchcock?s classic thriller.
