Namco Networks Puts Players? Skills to Test in Mobile Gaming Tournament at DigitalLife in New York

SAN JOSE, Calif.-- Namco Networks, the official wireless game company for DigitalLife and leading publisher and developer of wireless games and network content, today announced a series of PAC-MAN? and Galaga? mobile gaming tournaments that will take place at the consumer technology and entertainment show, DigitalLife in New York, October 12?15.

The tournament is cosponsored by Motorola and will consist of a daily qualifying round, where contestants compete exclusively on the MOTOSLVR phone to see who can earn the highest score. There will be one qualifying round for each game beginning at noon and ending at 5 p.m. Earning one of the day?s five highest scores will qualify contestants for the daily final challenge.

Daily tournaments will give players the opportunity to compete for bragging rights and prizes, including PAC-MAN toys, Galaga t-shirts and Motorola handsets.

Reminiscent of the arcade-era, the daily final challenge contestants will compete in a ?sudden death? playoff on a classic PAC-MAN or Galaga arcade machine. With just one life, challengers must score as many points as possible to determine the daily winner.

Visitors to DigitalLife can also play other arcade classics like Ms. PAC-MAN? and Dig Dug? and new hits like Pool Pro Online? and Time Crisis Mobile? while at the show.

Each day, contestants can enter the tournament at the Namco Networks booth (#1436). The qualifying rounds run from noon to 5 p.m. The daily final challenge begins at 5 p.m.
