Hansen's previous achievements include winning the $10K No-Limit Hold'em tournament at the Five Diamond World Poker Classic, and the $10K No-Limit Hold'em Championship at WPT's L.A. Poker Classic. He continued to make a name for himself by winning the Bad Boys of Poker tournament during the WPT's second season, and subsequently, securing his fourth WPT title at the Caribbean Adventure tournament. In 2005, Hansen was a finalist at the FullTiltPoker.Net Poker Invitational from Monaco and won the Grand Final at the first Poker Superstars Invitational. Just one year later, he defeated Daniel Negreanu and made television history by taking home the biggest pot ever of $575,700. Shortly thereafter, he won $100K at the FullTiltPoker.com London All Star Challenge.
2007 is proving to be an equally successful year for Hansen, with a victory at the largest tournament outside of North America - the Aussie Millions Main Event - where he pocketed $1.2 million.
Currently, Hansen resides in Monte Carlo, Monaco and occasionally provides commentary for Danish and American poker television shows.
