Firefly Mobile?s Buzz Is Heard Overseas Parternship Agreement Announced with Cicada Mobile

CHICAGO, IL (November 8, 2006) - Firefly Mobile, America?s leading designer, developer and manufacturer of innovative technology-based mobile products for niche markets, proudly announces an exclusive partnership agreement with Cicada Mobile to launch their Firefly? Mobile Phone for Mobile Kids? in Australia and New Zealand. The phone will be marketed under the ?Gecko? brand, effective immediately.

Gecko?s commercial introduction is set for November 8, 2006, throughout Australia, New Zealand and Fiji, just in time for the holiday season. The phone will be available at such stores such as Coles, Target, K Mart, Officeworks, Myer, some Vodafone stores and other participating retailers.

Gecko is a new brand being released by Cicada Mobile Pty Ltd., a new company established by entrepreneurs Ken Melia and Tim Pethick. The Gecko mobile kids phone will be launched in conjunction with Virtel, part of the Sonnet Group Limited. Gecko will handle customer acquisition, including sales, marketing and distribution. Virtel will manage all operations, including activation, credit control, and mobile calling plans and so on for Gecko.
