Now a days a lot of real estate business os moving towards mobile technologies. There are some companies who have brought almost all possible technologies like MMS, GPRS etc to allow people download the view the information on the properties on their mobile instantly. We are planning to develope a product related to real estate which is an mobile application connecting to the server via GPRS, the real estate mobile application downloads information related to the setting the user has given on the device. Soon we'll be releasing the first beta on the application. Meanwhile please lis tout some such available application either for wap or real estate applications for mobile.

There is a lot of real estate companies now a days offereing instant sell and buy services through mobile technologies via wap, or GPRS based mobile applications or mms/sms. Almost 20% of the companies have already started this kind of services or might be in progress. Still the real estate application can do well in the market as the requirement is really big and covers a lot of countries.

Sprint has released a Real Estate application for mobile. This Real estate application is capable of using the GPS service for finding the location and showing the nearby properties which are sold and the distance, map location etc are displayed. This application allows the user can see his or her location and all of the recent home sales in the area on the same map. In addition, the user can search by city and state to research multiple areas of interest, save properties to their phone, or call an agent for live support. The details of the property is well displayed with the nearby locations in the map. The application fetches data from the database Real Estate agent "Smarter Agent" where it display the information about the recently sold house and properties for the past 3 years.

you can take a look at this application if you are interested in developing applications for real estate markets. The Sprint's real estate application is only for U.S I think.
