Multipalyer network game ....how?

i jus want to know the multiplayer network game, i mean using any portal (TCP/IP) and how to create such portal .

if you have any samle code, it will be very useful for my creation.

You can simply use the socket connection API to connect to the server and share information that you need among handsets. The server should act like a router and that is all for a multiplayer mobile game

that is fine....like i am having a game its a multiplayer game and its network (portal )part done by another team, i jus want to make a network framework (portal )for the game...as you told , is it possible to use a socket connection API for this game.

in this game we are sending all the datas to that portal and it is doing further things..i jus want make such portal...
