3D animation in android

Hi
I am new to animation & gaming. My requirement is to be able do minimal animation on the Android phones, on Models created by Maya or Google Sketchup. I am exploring M3G but would like to know if there is another rendering engine or library that I can use that will make it easy. I can live with some limitations.
