Loading high resolution pictures

Hi,

On Sony Eriksson W580i, 2M pixel camera, I try to save picture taken by the phone camera to file system.
I can do it while I use low resoluition (about 20 to 30KB JPG file) but once I try to make it on high resolution it crash the application (out of memory)

Can you have any idea how to take care of high resolution pictures?

or

Can you point me to someone that know or have a special code for that?
