are mobile game updates possible?

Hi

Is there any way to update the part of a game like desktop applications. I mean after we deploy a game can we give updates to the user not the whole game but the map, levels etc of the game.

Yes, it is possible. We have developed application in J2ME that loads the complete data from the server and the j2me client just acts like a browser. In-case of games you can download the map in a specific format (might be xml) and stored in the RMS. The problem in this is you cannot store huge data like images etc. We have developed a platform game where the user can create his own map and upload it for others to play.
