How do a program can be called during text entry?

Any expert can help? I want to develop a text editing program which will be activated when user entering in text field in an active program. It just likes a virtual keyboard being pop-up in Pocket / Palm when entering text.

You may write such features in your application, but with j2me and midp2 you cannot integrate any such thing in to the OS. May be you have to try it with MS of Symbian OS but I dont think its even possible with Symbian.

Thanks your advice. You mean program in J2ME cannot function as I wanted (i.e. the state of text field is changed cannot be detected (by my program) so cannot create a thread to execute the text editing program code) ?

yes, we cannot write a thread in J2ME that can permanently run with the OS.
