Help to save game

Postby thebestdesign » Fri Nov 30, 2007 1:53 pm

I have a question about how to save a J2ME game, i want the player to be able to save the game and load it later to continue playing.
let's say that all what i need is just one saving slot no more, and each time the player save the game, he will overwrite the previous saved one.
please any advice or peace of code doing the job will be very appreciated

If the game you are speaking about is Sudoku or similar puzzle games, you can store the table in RMS (check RMS basics in wtk tutorials) or even if its a rpg like game you need to store the players situation, like how many kills enemy status and what ever you want in the RMS. RMS would be the only possibility for such things if you dont use a GPRS connection to store details on to the server.
