Hi

i've got a big problem with the midlet memory, my game is now sucking it like there was no tomorow, can anyone give some tips please?

PS: i'm already using System.gc() but it ain't helping very much, i really need is something to clean before i flushGraphics() i think

what are the resources you have loaded in your program and when exactly you are loading them?

oh i've managed to clean up

the problem was in the sprites that i'd created, i wasn't destroying them, so it was just pilling them up till the mobile crashed the app.

Which handset are you writing the game for? Incase you are not aware of memory problems with J2ME, do try developing a game for Motorola... :)

i'm developing for nokia, is it very different from motorola?

Motorola is really difficult when compared to Nokia in memory management point og view. You need to try writing a game for moto to get used with the memory management stuff.. :)
